Great resource for researching steroid abuse, discusses the drug as well as the many short term and long term affects that steroids have on the human body. Their studies suggest that 5 percent to 11 percent of high-school boys and 0.5 percent to 2.5 percent of high-school girls have tried anabolic steroids.

This site has some particularly useful information on drug-free sport. The CCES is a national non-profit organisation. It strives for a fair and ethical sport system by promoting drug-free sport, equity, fair play, safety and non-violence.

The DIS web site was launched in August 2002. It provides a regularly updated service with links to articles on drugs in sport from around the world. It also provides an extensive news service focused on drugs in sport. Articles and news items are not based on any particular criteria.

International Drugs in Sport Summit
The website of the International Drugs in Sport Summit which was held in November 1999. Outcomes from the Summit are presented in the Sydney Communiqué which is available on this site. At the summit it was determined to establish an interim International Intergovernmental Consultative Group on Anti-Doping (IICGAD) - a mechanism for ensuring that countries who did not participate in the Summit can have their views fully reflected in the development of the World Anti-Doping Agency.
